He used an instrument similar to an ice pick, which was driven through the eye socket
in the frontal lobe of his patients. The effect was astonishing. "Psycho-surgery attains its success
by shattering the fantasy, dulling the emotions, destroying the ability to think in abstract terms
and thereby creating a robot-like, controllable individual."

About 50 years later, the Danish medical student Martin B. Freeman discovers the
diary of his notorious great-uncle in the attic of his relatives' family villa, during a visit to the USA.

Shaken by this discovery, the budding physician returns to Midtjylland, where he shows the
notes to a friend working as an ambulance driver for the "Kongelig Psychiatrisk Institut".
Inspired by the harrowing practices of the "Ice Pick Lobotomist", they decide to continue
his work with the simple but effective means of Rock'n'Roll. A broke pharmacist
and a deadbeat veterinary make the band complete, LOBOMOBILE is born.
